June M. Chan is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Anesthesiology at Weill Cornell Medical College, where she serves as Assistant Director of Education for Anesthesiology and Associate Program Director for the Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology Fellowship. A graduate of the University of New South Wales School of Medicine (2002), she completed her residency and fellowship at Weill Cornell Medical College.

Dr. Chan’s research focuses on cardiovascular physiology, perioperative echocardiography, and graduate medical education, with additional interests in education technology and healthcare communication. Recent publications highlight her expertise in echocardiography applications, simulation training, and interdisciplinary clinical education. Articles from 2020-2024 address topics such as flow theory in clinical teaching, postoperative cardiac complications, and radiology integration in clerkships.
She is board-certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and National Board of Echocardiography, specializing in intraoperative transesophageal echocardiography and novel echocardiographic techniques. Dr. Chan practices at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, offering anesthesia for adult cardiothoracic surgery.
