Associate Professor Jun Jo is Director of Griffith Robotics Lab and President of the Australian Robotics Association. His research spans machine learning, satellite image analysis, UAVs, and robotics, with applications in bushfire detection, healthcare, and intelligent systems.

- Principal investigator on $894k Aus4Innovation project for AI in sustainable agriculture
- Developed satellite image processing systems for ETRI and KARI
He teaches robotics, game programming, and automation, supervising students in crack detection systems, conversational AI, and deepfake detection. His industry collaborations include projects with Gilmour Space Technologies and CSIRO.
