Julius M. Kitutu

Dr. Julius M. Kitutu serves as Associate Professor and Associate Dean for Community Engagement at the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing within the Acute & Tertiary Care department. He acts as the school's primary contact for community engagement matters and collaborates with the university's community engagement office to implement strategic initiatives focused on inclusivity and capacity building in diverse populations.

Dr. Kitutu's research focuses on analyzing student data across the nursing education continuum, from recruitment and admission through academic progression, graduation, and certification outcomes, with attention to the broader nursing workforce. His scholarly work examines educational pathways, student success metrics, and workforce development in nursing.
