Julio Amador III

Julio Amador III is a Senior Fellow at the Ateneo de Manila University's Ateneo Policy Center and serves as the Philippine Lead Investigator for the NORM Project (Shaping the Digital World Order: Norms and Agency along the Digital Silk Road in Southeast Asia). His work focuses on the intersection of geopolitics, technology policy, and security in the Philippines-China context.

Recent Publications analyze China’s Digital Silk Road’s influence on Philippine digitalization efforts, highlighting risks related to data security, legal outdatedness, and geopolitical dependencies. His work also explores security cooperation trends under the Duterte administration.
