Prof. dr hab. Julien Guthmuller is a faculty member at the Institute of Physics and Applied Informatics at Gdańsk University of Technology. His research spans theoretical physics, computational chemistry, and materials science, with a focus on nanoscale systems, photophysical processes, and energy conversion technologies.
His recent publications highlight expertise in:
- Analyzing energy landscapes of carbon nanostructures (C38 penta-fullerenes) using vibrational analysis
- Optimizing triplet-triplet annihilation upconversion in liposome environments
- Enhancing perovskite solar cell efficiency through down-conversion coatings
- Investigating excited states in BODIPY dyes with advanced computational methods
Current projects include the LOGIC LAB initiative funded by Horizon 2020, developing molecular logic systems for intracellular diagnostics, and hydrogen generation photocatalysis studies supported by HARMONIA grants.
