Julie Martin is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the Medical College of Georgia, where she contributes to clinical education and pediatric infectious disease scholarship. She is actively involved in teaching medical students through various pediatrics clerkships and extension courses.
Research Interests: Her work focuses on pediatric infectious diseases, particularly rare and complex infections in children. Areas of interest include immune reconstitution inflammatory syndrome, mycobacterial and fungal infections, and clinical case-based learning. Her research often takes the form of detailed case reports that contribute to diagnostic understanding and clinical management in pediatrics.
