Julie Marsh

Dr. Julie Marsh is an Adjunct Professor at the UWA Medical School, affiliated with the UWA Centre for Child Health Research (part of The Kids Research Institute Australia). Her expertise spans genetic epidemiology, medical statistics, and clinical trials, with a focus on pediatric healthcare and infectious disease research. She collaborates on global initiatives like the Staphylococcus aureus Network Adaptive Platform trial and leads studies on vaccine efficacy, cystic fibrosis treatment, and pediatric infection diagnostics.

Research Interests:
Dr. Marsh’s work addresses critical challenges in pediatric medicine, including optimizing antibiotic use, improving vaccine strategies, and advancing clinical trial methodologies. Her recent projects include risk-stratification for febrile infants, immune responses to pertussis vaccines, and Bayesian adaptive treatments for cystic fibrosis.
