Julie Lamy

Julie Lamy is a postdoctoral researcher at the Animal Breeding & Genomics department of Wageningen University & Research. She works on the PPP repro project and will focus on CGN projects in the future, developing cryopreservation protocols and Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART) to aid conservation efforts for threatened species and breeds.

• PhD in Reproductive Sciences (2017) from the French National Institute for Agricultural Research
• Former JoGayle Howard postdoctoral fellow at the Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute

Her research spans reproductive physiology, histology, and molecular biology of domestic and wild felids (e.g., cheetahs, clouded leopards), with a focus on in vitro techniques and conservation applications. She has expertise in embryo culture, immunohistology, and in vitro fertilization.
