Her work spans international comparative studies, qualitative investigations into organisational culture, and systematic reviews of evidence-based practices. Key themes include transition planning, strengths-based models, economic barriers to self-advocacy, and the impact of global events like the COVID-19 pandemic on vulnerable populations.
Professor Beadle-Brown is a Chartered Psychologist, HCPC-registered Practitioner Psychologist, and Senior Fellow of the School for Social Care Research. She is a member of the Medical Research Council’s College of Experts and serves as Secretary/Treasurer and Chair of the Comparative Policy and Practice Special Interest Research Group of IASSIDD.
