Dr. Julie Bacak is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Teaching and Learning at Temple University’s College of Education and Human Development. Her work focuses on equitable mathematics education and teacher development, leveraging digital tools and collaborative research. She holds a PhD from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in curriculum and instruction with a focus on urban elementary education.

Dr. Bacak’s research emphasizes equitable teaching practices in mathematics, digital safety curricula for K-12 students, and teacher education.
