Julie Ancis is a Distinguished Professor of Informatics at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, where she founded and directs the Cyberpsychology Program. Previously serving as Associate Vice President for Institute Diversity at Georgia Tech, she has secured over $6 million in grants from NSF and Department of Education.

Research Focus: Ancis examines diversity, multicultural competence, media psychology, and human-computer interaction, with emphasis on gender justice, anti-discrimination frameworks, and inclusive technology design. Her work intersects psychology, law, and digital systems.
