Julie A Christensen is a Professor in the Department of Modern and Classical Languages at George Mason University. Her expertise spans Russian language, literature, and film, with a focus on Soviet and post-Soviet cinema in the Caucasus, Central Asia, Mongolia, and Eastern Europe. She has held academic roles at Tulane University, Berkeley, and Cornell College prior to joining GMU.
