Dr. Julianne A. Walsh is an Associate Professor in the School of Nursing and Health Sciences at Curry College. She holds a PhD in Nurse Scientist Educator from the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth, an M.S.N. in Nurse Educator from Curry College, and a B.S.N. from Salve Regina College. Dr. Walsh is a certified Healthcare Simulation Educator and focuses on mentoring the nursing workforce through critical reflection and experiential learning.

Her program of research centers on reflection, critical reflective thinking, and experiential learning in prelicensure nursing students, particularly analyzing the impact of journaling post-simulation-based education on student outcomes. She has secured grants from the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and actively contributes to nursing literature and conferences.
Dr. Walsh has served as ACCEL Program Coordinator since 2024 and teaches courses ranging from Population Health to Leadership in Nursing. She is affiliated with multiple professional organizations, including the National League for Nursing and the International Nursing Association of Clinical Simulation and Learning (INACSL).
