Dr. Juliane Borchert is an Associated Scientist and Project Leader of the Vector Junior Research Group (The solar cell of the future) at Fraunhofer ISE. She heads the Novel Solar Cell Concepts Group within the Photovoltaics Department. Her expertise focuses on perovskite-based tandem solar cells, thin-film manufacturing techniques, and upscaling of perovskite technologies. She holds a DPhil in Condensed Matter Physics from the University of Oxford (2015-2019) and completed postdoctoral research roles at the University of Cambridge, AMOLF Institute, and Oxford. Her work aims to advance high-efficiency solar cell technologies through material innovation and scalable production methods.
