Julian Leibowitz

Julian Leibowitz, MD, PhD, is a Professor and Director of the MD/PhD Program at the Texas A&M University Health Science Center College of Medicine, Department of Microbial Pathogenesis & Immunology. He leads the Leibowtiz Lab, focusing on coronavirus replication and host interactions. His work includes developing murine hepatitis virus (MHV) models for SARS and multiple sclerosis, and studying viral UTR structures. Education includes a BA from Alfred University (1968) and MD/PhD from Albert Einstein College of Medicine (1975).
