Dr. Julian Hamann is a junior professor for Higher Education Research at the Department of Education Studies, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. His research bridges sociology of science and higher education research, focusing on academic careers, evaluation processes, disciplinary structures, and social inequality. He employs qualitative methodologies, including document analysis, interviews, and ethnographic approaches.
