Julian Fink is Professor of Practical Philosophy at the University of Bayreuth and Guest Professor at Charles University Prague. He holds a DPhil from the University of Oxford and specializes in rationality, normative ethics, and Nazi law.
His research examines:
- Structural irrationality and rational requirements
- Foundations of practical reasoning
- Normative justifications in totalitarian legal systems
He co-edited 'Rechtfertigungen des Unrechts,' analyzing Nazi legal philosophy, and has published extensively on rationality's scope. As co-director of Bayreuth's Philosophy & Economics MA, he teaches courses on illiberal democracy and normative theory.
