Julia Warwas

Prof. Julia Warwas holds the Chair of Business Education, specializing in Theory and Didactics of Vocational Education (560B) at the University of Hohenheim. Since October 2020, she has been a Professor there and currently serves as Deputy Managing Director of Institute 560. Previously, she held professorships at the University of Göttingen (2018–2020) and was an acting professor at Hohenheim (2017–2018). She earned her habilitation in 2019 and doctorate in 2011 from the University of Bamberg, where she worked as a research assistant from 2005 to 2017.

Her research focuses on teaching professionalism, team collaboration among educators, digital tools for competence measurement, learning diagnostics, psychological stress in educational/work settings, and school personnel management. She is affiliated with organizations like DGfE, EARLI, and PDRnet.

At Hohenheim, she teaches courses such as 'Learning and Performance Diagnostics in Vocational Education' (MA) and 'Theories of Teaching' (BA). Her international experience includes visiting lectureships in Austria and Finland.

Her work integrates empirical research with practical educational challenges, emphasizing professional development and evidence-based pedagogy.
