Julia Steinberger

Professor Julia Steinberger is a faculty member at the University of Lausanne in Switzerland, specializing in Ecological Economics. Her research focuses on the interconnections between resource use (energy, materials, emissions) and societal outcomes such as economic activity and human wellbeing. She currently co-leads the EU ERC Synergy grant 'REAL- A Post-Growth Deal', exploring post-growth societal models. As a Lead Author for the IPCC’s 6th Assessment Report (Working Group 3), she contributes to global climate policy frameworks.
