Julia Schleier is a Researcher at the Chair of Operations Management within the School of Business and Economics at RWTH Aachen University, where she has worked since November 2018. Her research focuses on Sustainable Supply Chains, Circular Economy, and Chemical Recycling of Plastics.
- Current projects: SCI4climate.NRW (funded by North Rhine-Westphalia's Ministry of Economic Affairs) and Catalaix – Catalysis for a Circular Economy (funded by the Werner Siemens Foundation).
- Teaching activities include Project Module: Operations Management (SS 2024) and Production and Logistics courses (WS 2019/20–WS 2022/23).
- Supervised theses address topics like eco-economic evaluation of chemical recycling, reverse logistics for EPS waste, and agri-PV system viability.
