Julia Pryce, PhD is a Professor and Associate Director of the Faculty Center for Ignatian Pedagogy at Loyola University Chicago, where she contributes to academic leadership and pedagogical innovation.
Her research focuses on:
- School-based interventions for vulnerable youth
- The role of mentors in the lives of system-involved youth
- Development of mentoring programs internationally
- Incorporating social justice into social work curricula
- Qualitative studies on youth aging out of the child welfare system
She collaborates with institutions such as the Erikson Institute, University of Chicago/Chapin Hall Center for Children, and the City of Chicago Department of Family & Support Services. Her work frequently intersects with juvenile justice reform, program evaluation, and social equity in education.
