Julia Mantaj

Dr. Julia Mantaj is a Senior Lecturer in Pharmaceutical Science at London South Bank University (LSBU), joining in September 2024. She previously held roles at King’s College London (KCL) as a Research Associate (2018-2019) and Teaching Fellow (2019-2021), and served as a Lecturer in Biomedical Science at Anglia Ruskin University (2021-2024). A GPhC-registered pharmacist and Royal Pharmaceutical Society member, she combines academic work with locum pharmacy practice (2017-2021).

Research Interests focus on advanced in vitro models using human-derived organoids (mammary, intestinal) and hydrogel systems for rectal cell therapy in IBD.
