Julia Hockenmaier

Julia Hockenmaier is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Her research focuses on Natural Language Processing (NLP), particularly in grounded language processing, collaborative dialogue systems, and vision-language interfaces. She leads a research group exploring linguistically expressive yet computationally tractable grammars for wide-coverage parsing.
