Julia Cadrin-Tourigny

Julia Cadrin-Tourigny is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine at the Université de Montréal's Faculty of Medicine. Her research focuses on the genetic basis of cardiovascular diseases, particularly post-operative atrial fibrillation and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. She is funded by the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé and collaborates on projects supported by the Instituts de recherche en santé du Canada.

  • 2024: Genetic basis of post-operative atrial fibrillation in the Quebec population (Master's supervision: Amélie Jeuken)
  • 2023-2027: Multimodal prediction of arrhythmic events in hereditary heart diseases
  • 2020-2026: Complex genetics of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (Co-researcher role)
