Juli Harrison is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Science and Technology at the University of Pittsburgh. She splits her time between clinical work at the UPMC Rehabilitation Institute Center for Assistive Technology, focusing on wheelchair seating and positioning, and academic roles including research and continuing education. Her education includes a Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) from Washington University School of Medicine, a Master of Arts in Educational Studies from the University of Michigan, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Carnegie Mellon University.
Research interests emphasize wheeled mobility systems, enhancing clinical evaluation methodologies, and expanding education for clients and clinicians in assistive technology. She actively participates in professional organizations, serving on the Board of Directors for the Community Living and Support Services Certificates.
