Juhani Linnainmaa is the George J. Records 1956 Professor of Investments at the Tuck School of Business, Dartmouth College. Previously, he served as faculty at the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business from 2006 to 2016. He holds a PhD from UCLA Anderson School of Management (2006) and degrees from the Helsinki School of Economics (MSc and BA, 2001).
His research focuses on asset pricing, investments, and household finance. He is a research associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research and has received prestigious awards including the Amundi Smith Breeden Prize (2018) and Marshall E. Blume Prize (2016).
Linnainmaa teaches an investments elective at Tuck and has published widely in top finance journals. His work examines investor behavior, portfolio choices, and market efficiency.
