Juerg Weber

Dr. Juerg Weber is a Senior Honorary Research Fellow at the UWA Business School's Economics Department, following his retirement as Associate Professor in 2015. He specializes in macroeconomics, monetary policy, and insurance economics. His research explores topics like crop insurance in drought-prone regions and the historical evolution of monetary systems. He has held roles including Coordinator of UWA's Master of Economics Program and Visiting Lecturer at the University of Zurich. Dr. Weber currently contributes to the Centre of Integrative Bee Research and serves as Switzerland's Honorary Consul in Western Australia.
