Jue Chen

Jue Chen is Associate Professor of Chinese Literature at UW-Milwaukee, specializing in medieval and early modern Chinese poetry. Research explores Chan Buddhist literary traditions, classical poetics, and intellectual history. Teaches Chinese literature and language courses.

Education: PhD from Princeton University. Current book project examines poetry in Chan Buddhist practice.
