Judith Seltzer

Judith Seltzer is a Research Professor in the Department of Sociology at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Her work examines family structures, inequality within and between families, and demographic changes impacting parent-child relationships. She has held leadership roles including President of the Population Association of America and chaired the American Sociological Association's Family Section.
