Judith M. Damian is a Researcher at the Heidelberg University of Jewish Studies, currently working on the BMBF-funded project "Educational Game Joseph Süß Oppenheimer" at the Chair of Jewish History. Her research focuses on Jewish-Christian relations, women in Judaism, anti-Judaism/anti-Semitism, and contemporary Jewish discourses. She has held prior research assistant roles at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and contributed to projects examining Jewish reactions to anti-Semitism and ritual practices.

Judith's research explores Jewish identity negotiation during the Enlightenment, particularly among Jewish salonnières. She is actively involved in digital humanities projects, co-developing educational games about historical figures like Joseph Süß Oppenheimer. Her work bridges historical analysis with modern anti-Judaism critiques.
