Judith Daar is the Ambassador Patricia L. Herbold Dean and Professor of Law at Northern Kentucky University's Salmon P. Chase College of Law. With expertise at the intersection of law, medicine, and ethics, she specializes in bioethics, reproductive medicine, and assisted reproductive technologies (ART). Her scholarly work examines germline genome editing, surrogate parent arrangements, and stem cell research.

Research Focus: Daar’s scholarship addresses legal-ethical dilemmas in ART, including embryo transfer policies, genetic screening, provider autonomy, and postmortem reproduction. Her recent work analyzes socially responsible medicine and the person/property divide in reproductive healthcare.
