Judith D. Bentkover

Judith D. Bentkover is Professor of the Practice in Health Services Policy and Practice at Brown University's School of Public Health and Professor of the Practice in the Economics Department at Tufts University. She is the founding Executive and Academic Director of Brown's Executive Master of Healthcare Leadership program and President of Judith Bentkover and Associates, a consulting firm serving healthcare stakeholders.

Dr. Bentkover earned her PhD from Tufts University in 1978. Her academic journey includes significant appointments at Harvard University, where she taught health economics and directed interdisciplinary PhD programs across multiple schools.

Her research expertise spans pharmacoeconomics, therapy economics, and healthcare policy analysis with particular focus on mental health economics (Alzheimer's Disease, Post Traumatic Stress, and Traumatic Brain Injury), medication adherence, and international healthcare systems.
