Judit Majorossy is a Senior Researcher for Austrian History at the Institute of History, University of Vienna. Her academic career spans institutions in Hungary, Slovakia, Austria, and the UK, with a focus on late medieval urban and social history in Central Europe.
- Education: MA in Medieval Studies (Central European University, 1996), PhD in Medieval Studies and History (Central European University, 2004)
Research interests include Medieval Urban History, Social Topography, and Regional Networks between Austria and Hungary. She has conducted comparative analyses of urban elite groups and studied the religious life of medieval citizens, including brotherhoods, pilgrimages, and poor relief systems.
