Dr. Jude Watson is a Reader and Deputy Director of the York Trials Unit at the University of York, specializing in the coordination and management of large-scale randomized controlled trials (RCTs) in primary and secondary care settings. Her work spans areas such as musculoskeletal health, wound care, addiction, and mental health, with a focus on methodological rigor and recruitment strategies.

Jude's research interests include recruitment challenges in RCTs, trial design, podiatric research, and interventions for addiction and mental health. As a non-practising member of The Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists and associate editor for the Clinical Trials journal, she remains engaged in academic leadership and editorial work. Her collaborations span multidisciplinary teams in mental health and addiction research.
