Dr. Juan Jose Manfredi is an Assistant Professor of Nuclear Engineering in the Department of Engineering Physics at the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT). He focuses on radiation detection, nuclear physics, and computational modeling, with projects involving additive manufacturing of scintillators, nuclear data measurements with the GENESIS collaboration, and terrestrial gamma flash detection systems aboard "Hurricane Hunter" aircraft.
