Juai Ruan

Juai Ruan is a part-time faculty member in the Department of Physics & Astronomy at the University of Pittsburgh's Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences. His research focuses on wide band-gap semiconductors through ion beam and low-temperature cathodoluminescence studies.

Research interests span semiconductor material characterization, optical properties of condensed matter systems, and low-temperature physics applications. Notably involved in experimental studies of wide band-gap materials critical for optoelectronic devices.
