Joydeep Chakrabortty

Dr. Joydeep Chakrabortty is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur. With a PhD from Harish-Chandra Research Institute (2011), he has established himself as a researcher in theoretical high energy physics.

His research interests span Effective Field Theory, Quantum Field Theory, Spectral Functions, and Heat kernel. Dr. Chakrabortty specializes in neutrino physics, grand unified theories, and left-right symmetric models, with particular focus on dimension-5 operators in GUTs, gauge coupling unification, and neutrino mass mechanisms. His work bridges theoretical frameworks with phenomenological implications for particle physics experiments.

Dr. Chakrabortty's publications in high-impact journals like Journal of High Energy Physics and Physical Review D demonstrate his expertise in theoretical particle physics.
