Josée Dupuis is Professor and Chair of the Department of Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Occupational Health in the School of Population and Global Health at McGill University in Montreal, Canada.

Professor Dupuis has extensive experience in developing and applying statistical methods for genome-wide association studies, gene-by-environment interaction investigation, genetic meta-analysis, rare variant analysis, and omics data analysis. She specializes in novel statistical approaches for analyzing genetic data collected from large families.
She is actively involved in the Framingham Heart Study, collaborating on projects to identify genes influencing diabetes-related traits and pulmonary function traits.
Her scientific awards include:

- Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science
- International Genetic Epidemiology Leadership Award
- 2020 American Society of Human Genetics Mentorship Award
Professor Dupuis serves as an Associate Editor for the journal Biostatistics and was past-President of the International Genetic Epidemiology Society. She previously held faculty positions at Northwestern University and Boston University School of Public Health, and worked as a senior statistical geneticist at Genome Therapeutics Corporation.
