José Ramiro González Montaña

José Ramiro González Montaña is a Professor at the Universidad de León, affiliated with the College of Veterinary Medicine and the Department of Veterinary Medicine, Surgery and Anatomy. His research focuses on animal health and reproduction within veterinary science.

He earned his PhD in 1992 from Universidad de León with a thesis titled "Dismetabolismos energéticos en ovejas de alta producción profilaxis y tratamientos" (Energetic dysmetabolisms in high-production sheep: prophylaxis and treatments).

His research interests include Animal Medicine and Surgery, with a specialization in Animal Reproduction. He is actively involved in the IMAPOR REPRODUCCIÓN ANIMAL research group, addressing key challenges in veterinary reproductive health.
