Josien P.W. Pluim

Josien P.W. Pluim is a Full Professor of Medical Image Analysis at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), where she leads the Medical Image Analysis group. She holds a part-time professorship at University Medical Center Utrecht and serves as Vice-Dean for the Department of Biomedical Engineering at TU/e. Her research focuses on image analysis methodologies—including registration, segmentation, and deep learning—with clinical applications in neurology and oncology. She has published over 250 peer-reviewed papers and serves on editorial boards of leading journals. She is a Fellow of the MICCAI Society and IEEE.
