Josie Solomon-Taylor is a Professor of Social Pharmacy and Public Health at the University of Sheffield, School of Allied Health Professions, Nursing and Midwifery. She previously held academic roles at the University of Lincoln, University of Leicester, and De Montfort University, including leadership positions like Head of the School of Pharmacy.

She also explores healthcare practitioner wellbeing, consultation models, and equitable access to pharmaceutical services for marginalized groups.
Recent publications highlight her work on pharmacy-based interventions for vulnerable populations, chronic disease management, and healthcare policy implementation. Her scholarly output spans qualitative studies, systematic reviews, and policy analyses, reflecting her interdisciplinary approach.
