Joshua Moreau

Joshua Moreau is an Assistant Professor at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) with appointments in the Division of Oncological Sciences, Department of Dermatology, and Department of Cell, Developmental & Cancer Biology. He is also affiliated with CEDAR (Center for Spatial Systems Biomedicine).

• PhD in Immunology from the University of Toronto
• Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) under Dr. Michael Rosenblum

His research focuses on the intersection of adaptive immune function and tissue biology, particularly the role of tissue-resident lymphocytes in barrier organs like the skin. Key areas include inflammatory disease, cancer immunology, and tissue-specific immunotherapy. He employs multiomic approaches and functional immunology to study disease pathogenesis and develop novel therapeutic strategies.

His recent publications highlight work on hidradenitis suppurativa, melanoma, regulatory T cells, layilin-glycosylated collagen interactions, and 3D tumor-immune modeling. His research spans molecular immunology, tissue engineering, and translational applications.
