Joshua Dehlinger is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer and Information Sciences at Towson University's Fisher College of Science and Mathematics. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Iowa State University and previously served as a Research Associate at the University of Virginia.
Dehlinger's research focuses on software engineering methodologies, including requirements engineering, software safety assurance, and product line engineering. He has developed research tools including SSVChecker for vulnerability analysis and PLFaultCAT for fault tree analysis in safety-critical systems.
His teaching includes Software Engineering, Software Testing and Maintenance, Mobile Application Development, and coordination of the department's internship program. Dehlinger has secured multiple NSF grants including funding for revitalizing computer science curricula and scholarship programs.
