Josh Ortega

Josh Ortega is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Transportation Design at the College for Creative Studies (CCS), where he has been teaching since 2015. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from CCS, specializing in Transportation Design. His professional career spans major automotive and product design firms, including FCA, Ford, and currently General Motors, where he serves as an Exterior Creative Designer in the GMC Studio.

His expertise lies in exterior automotive design and visual development, with notable contributions to the 2020 2.3L High Performance Mustang at Ford. His academic role supports the integration of real-world industry experience into design education.

Josh Ortega has also gained international experience through an internship at Sinot Yacht Design in the Netherlands. His teaching focuses on creative and practical aspects of transportation design, bridging academic learning with industrial innovation.

He is actively engaged in both industry and academia, contributing to the development of future designers through his adjunct teaching role.
