Josh Armitage

Josh Armitage is a Lecturer in Tribology & Surface Engineering at the School of Mechanical Engineering, University of Leeds, Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences. His research and teaching are centered on surface phenomena and interfacial interactions in mechanical systems.

Research Interests: His expertise lies in tribology and surface engineering, with a focus on tribo-chemical and tribo-corrosion processes, as well as the physical interactions occurring at interfaces. Josh Armitage is affiliated with the Institute of Functional Surfaces, a leading research institute at the University of Leeds dedicated to advancing surface science and engineering solutions.
