Josephine Halvorson

Josephine Halvorson is a Professor of Art and Chair of Graduate Studies in Painting at Boston University. She received her BFA from The Cooper Union and MFA from Columbia University, with additional studies at Yale Norfolk. Her work spans painting, sculpture, and printmaking, emphasizing firsthand experience.

Halvorson's research explores intersections of contemporary visual art, materiality, and environmental observation.
