Joseph Mujere is Lecturer in Modern History at the University of York, specializing in Southern African social and environmental history. His research examines migration, land politics, resource extraction, and visual history methodologies. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Edinburgh (2012) and previously taught at the University of Zimbabwe and National University of Lesotho.
