Joseph Kosinski is an instructor in the Department of Finance & Real Estate at DePaul University's Driehaus College of Business. He holds a BS in Accountancy from the same institution (1978) and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Kosinski designed and teaches the course FIN 250: Professional Behavior and Communication Development, focusing on preparing students for professional finance careers.

With a professional background in corporate finance spanning 34 years at Abbott, where he held leadership roles in manufacturing accounting, customs compliance, and SAP implementation, Kosinski brings practical industry expertise to his teaching. His work at Abbott included creating the company’s customs function and leading global finance learning initiatives.
Kosinski actively contributes to academic and professional communities through his role on the Association of Latino Professionals For America (ALPFA) National Corporate Advisory Board and as chair of DePaul’s Finance Advisory Board’s academic programs sub-committee. These engagements highlight his commitment to curriculum development and industry-academia collaboration.
