Joseph Goode is an Associate Professor and Vice-Chair for Research & Scholarship at the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing, Department of Nurse Anesthesia. He also serves as Assistant Director of the Nurse Anesthesia Program and a staff CRNA at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.

- BA in Fine Arts and Biological Sciences from the University of Michigan
His research spans clinical application of High Frequency Jet Ventilation, healthcare simulation methodologies, and theoretical models in simulation processes. He has contributed to book chapters on simulation curricular development and HFJV.
Dr. Goode's clinical expertise includes anesthesia, HFJV, and patient safety. He teaches pharmacology, respiratory physiology, and airway management while leading simulation courses like Difficult Airway Management and Anesthesia Crisis Leadership Training.
