Joseph Ferrie

Joseph Ferrie is a Professor of Economics and History at Northwestern University, where he has been a faculty member since 1991. His research focuses on the long-term impacts of early-life experiences, including household socioeconomic status and environmental factors, on later-life outcomes such as human capital and health. He also investigates intergenerational mobility in socioeconomic status, particularly through historical data analysis.
